At least four civilians were killed and two were wounded when their vehicle was struck by a roadside bomb on Saturday in eastern Nangarhar province, local officials said.

"The incident took place at 10:00 AM in the Khogyani district of Nangarhar province when a civilian mini-van was heading towards Jalalabad city," provincial spokesman Ahmad Zia Abduzai said.

The wounded were taken to a nearby hospital in the city, he said.

No group, including the Taliban, has claimed responsibility for the blast.
