The Documenta international art exhibition is held every five years in Kassel, Germany. It was the first art exhibition in Germany after World War II and was established with the aim of eliminating the effects of war, mainly the psychological impact on people's spirits.

The first exhibition was in 1955 AD and brought together many modern works of art.

Documenta held its first Kabul-based exhibition on June 20 this year in the historic Babur Gardens in Kabul, displaying the works of 27 local and foreign artists for one month.
