Three insurgents who are said to be Arabs were killed on Thursday's attack in the main town in North Waziristan, according to the officials.
Since the start of this year, some 70 drone strikes have killed more than 200 militants in North and South Waziristan, according to the officials.
It is believed that the US drone attacks have been working significantly targeting militants in tribal areas of Pakistan, where al-Qaeda and Haqqani linked Taliban plan their attacks to target Afghan government compounds and foreign troops.
