Ex-Employees Accuse AOP of Nepotism, Ethnic Discrimination

Over 30 employees of the Administrative Office of the President (AOP) who were recently fired from the jobs in a letter to TOLOnews accused the AOP of nepotism and ethnic discriminationion toward certain people.

They said the AOP fired them from the jobs for no logical reasons.

However, officials from the AOP have said that these employees were fired from their jobs due to organizational inflation.

33 employees who were fired were working in two separate entities within the AOP.

“The government entities are not allowed to make mass dismissals of their employees without having permission from the Ministry of Labor-- the mass dismissal means the lack of job safety,” said legal expert Wahid Farzayee.

The fired employees said that new people were assigned to their posts after their dismissal.
