Haqqani in Khost Again Calls for Respect of General Amnesty

Anas Haqqani, a senior member of the Islamic Emirate, called on the Islamic Emirate forces to respect the general amnesty announced by the supreme leader of the Islamic Emirate, Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada.

Speaking at a gathering in Khost province, he also said government posts should be filled by skilled, professional people in order to provide good services to the country.

He urged the Islamic Emirate forces to treat the citizens of the country respectfully.

“We should not disobey our (seniors) due to hatred, anger and personal wishes. We shouldn’t break our Islamic system and undermine it and defame the name of the Islamic system,” he said.

Haqqani made the remarks at a gathering in Sabri district of Khost province.

“Those Mujahideen who have been given responsibility and authority or a position, they should not look down on the people,” said Haqqani.

“This system has been established by leaders who have knowledge (of Islam). We believe that this system will become better,” said a tribal elder.

Haqqani told an earlier gathering in the same province that the issue of closed schools will be solved soon and that an assembly of clerics will be held, and problems related to girls' schools will be solved.
