Panjshir residents who were displaced and moved to Kabul expressed worry about the approaching winter.

They asked humanitarian agencies for assistance, adding that they have nothing to eat and are struggling financially.

With his family of ten, Abdulhai, 40, recently relocated to Kabul from Panjshir.

He said they have a serious financial problem, live in a rented home on one of Kabul's mountains, and suffer unemployment and poverty.

"Even when I stand for prayer, I am reminded that you need coal and wood now that winter has arrived. How will Kabul's weather be, and how will the winter go?" Abdulhai said.

"They should find a house or shelter for those people who have been displaced and should help them,” said Latifa, displaced person from Panjshir.

"There are many people who do not have men and their economic situation is not good. It is better if they provide something for women,” said Bahara, a displaced person from Panjshir.

Meanwhile, some aid agencies in cooperation with the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) have distributed aid packages to those who have been displaced from Panjshir province.

"Institutions offer a unique package they call the winter package. Clearly, money, food, and clothing are all included; with God's help, they will be able to live comfortably,” said Abdul Matin Rahimzai, director of Kabul's department for refugees and repatriation.

Displaced families from Panjshir have asked the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) and humanitarian agencies to continue helping them.
