Islamic Emirate Urges US to Engage in 'Positive' Way with Kabul

The Islamic Emirate spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid called on the US to engage in good relations with the current Afghan government.

Speaking at a gathering held to mark the US attack on Afghanistan, Mujahid said that the way of force has not been successful.

"If the US wants stability in this region, it wants it for its own interests, so, if it wants to bring stability for the countries, it should engage in positive relations with the current government," he said.

Some senior Islamic Emirate officials said that the US aggression against Afghanistan was an "oppressive act."

21 years ago, on October 7th, the US attacked Afghanistan.

"The B-52 bombers, drones, and 'mother of all bombs' was used in Afghanistan," said Khalid Hanafi, acting Minister of Vice and Virtue.

"The US has not come alone but with the whole world and all modern war equipment to Afghanistan to not only change the Afghan history, culture and identity but also change the politics of the world," said Inamullah Samangani, deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate.

After 20 years of war, US troops left Afghanistan at the end of August, 2021, following the fall of the republic-backed government of former President Ashraf Ghani.
