Ministry to Repair Educational Institutions in Panjshir

Following reports that some educational institutions in Panjshir province had been demolished, the acting minister of higher education said during his visit to the province that the ministry will restore some of the institutions that had been destroyed.

"Any place that needs to be built or repaired will be restored, and maybe the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate have not used the educational places as a base, and if there was such a place, we will try to hand over the educational place to the students and teachers," said Neda Mohammad Nadim, the acting Minister of Higher Education.

Meanwhile, the officials of Panjshir University said that over 200 male students graduated from this institution.

“Around 193 students graduated from different fields of four faculties of Panjshir Institute of Higher Education, all of them are boys and none of them are girls,” said Mustafa Abusaeed, the chancellor of Panjshir University.

Graduate students asked the Islamic Emirate to provide them the opportunity to pursue further education abroad.

“The Islamic Emirate should provide the opportunity for those who are interested in Masters and PhD degrees abroad,” said Nasir Ahmad Amani, a graduate student.

“The Islamic Emirate should provide scholarships for them to go abroad,” said Ahmad Sieyar Sahibzada, a graduate student.

Graduate students urged the Islamic Emirate to provide job opportunities for graduates who are seeking employment in their respective fields of study.
