Security officials in Parwan said they arrested a group of 12 armed robbers in the province.
According to the security commander of the province, this group was expelled from Islamic Emirate forces but was still using the name of the Islamic Emirate and the weapons and equipment that remained with them. They stole cars and commandeered houses. Eight cars were found with the group.
"They had uniforms and cards that officials gave out, and they misused them," said Aziz Ullah Omar, security commander of Parwan.
A Parwan resident said that these people stole his car three days ago from Charikar city.
"They stole my car from the Charikar area," said Matiullah, a Parwan resident.
"They steal my car, police have to find my car," said Idris, a Parwan resident.
Meanwhile, residents in Parwan called on local officials to stop those people misusing the Islamic Emirate name, as people are being harassed in the city by them.
"They misuse the name of the Islamic Emirate, they must be caught," said Mohammad Zameer, a Parwan resident.
"After the Islamic Emirate took over our work is good, but we need more security," said Abdullah, a Parwan resident.
The armed robbers were arrested in Parwan. According to the residents of this province, in the last few nights, they entered people's houses and took their money and jewellery with them in the name of Islamic Emirate forces and under the pretext of inspection.
