US's West Talks with Ex-Senate Chairman Fazal Hadi Muslimyar

Us special envoy for Afghanistan, Thomas West, in a phone call with Fazal Hadi Muslimyar, the former senate chairman, emphasized the need to reopen schools for girls and to allow women to work.

Thomas West tweeted that they also discussed the Afghan humanitarian and economic situation and the “need for a dialogue among Afghans" about the "humanitarian and economic situations in Afghanistan" and about "calls from the Afghan people to see women and girls return to school and work" and need for a dialogue among Afghans re: future of their country."

"Education is obligatory for women and men, every Muslim should know that," said Zahra Mujadadi, a political analyst and Hamburg city council lawyer.

Less than a month is left before the beginning of the new academic year.

Some female students called on the Islamic Emirate to reopen secondary schools for girls in year 1402.

"Officials of Islamic Emirate as usual announced reopening schools for girls so we can continue our education and can go to school," said Marwah, a student in grade 12.
"We ask the Islamic Emirate to announce Kankor examinations for girls," said Hussna, a graduate student.

Meanwhile, the Islamic Emirate said it is seeking to provide education and work for women according to Islamic values.
