Scott Smith, the political head of UNAMA, at a meeting with Mullah Abdul Wasi, the head of the Prime Minister's Office, emphasized the need to create an atmosphere of trust between the Islamic Emirate and the world, the head of the PM's office said.
The Islamic Emirate's deputy spokesperson, Bilal Karimi, said that this UN official also stressed the need to develop an atmosphere of trust between the Islamic Emirate and the world.
"Smith said that the dialogue and understanding should continue in order to strengthen the atmosphere of trust between the Islamic Emirate, including the US, and the international community in order to provide a foundation for healthy and positive relations,” Karimi told TOLOnews.
During the meeting, the head of the Prime Minister's Office said that the Islamic Emirate is ready to interact with the world.
"The world needs Afghanistan's collaboration, and Afghanistan needs the world's cooperation. To find a resolution, both parties must be adaptable and accept each other's reasonable demands,” said Hassan Haqyar, a political analyst.
“Every ... incompatible relationship is detrimental. UNAMA's responsibility is to resolve disputes between organizations and nations since problems can only be solved with the hand, not the mouth,” said Toryalai Hemat, another political analyst.
Two years have passed since the Islamic Emirate came to power, but so far, no country has recognized the current government.
