Afghanistan’s Consulate in Khorog Works with Islamic Emirate: Consulate

The acting consular of the Islamic Emirate in Khorog in Tajikistan says that he works directly and under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate.

Naqibullah Dehqanzada emphasized that diplomats should provide consular services to the people in the right way.

Earlier, the ambassador of the former government of Afghanistan in Tajikistan reacted to the letters and rumors spread about the letter of introduction of the first secretary of the Islamic Emirate.

After the reaction of the ambassador of the previous government in Tajikistan regarding the introduction of a diplomat of the Islamic Emirate in this country, now the acting consular of the Islamic Emirate in Khorog city of Tajikistan, says that this consulate works directly with the support and under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate.

"The Consulate General of Afghanistan in Tajikistan is an independent representation and is directly supported and guided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, and operates in accordance with the law and its competencies and provides consular services," said Naqibullah Dehqanzada, the Acting consular of the Islamic Emirate in Khorog.

Former diplomats offered views about Dehqanzada's statements.

"The Afghan consulate in Khorog is one of the least important consulates in Afghanistan, and its duties are very limited due to the absence of Afghans in Khorog and the remoteness of this region and the lack of official relations between the Taliban and Tajikistan,”  said Noorullah Raghi, a former diplomat.

"This conflict between the ambassador and the consul general of Afghanistan in Tajikistan will have a positive effect, because if a number of problems are not solved in the embassy, it is possible that they will be solved in the consul general." said Aziz Maarej, a former diplomat.

Earlier, Mohammad Zahir Aghbar, the ambassador of the former government of Afghanistan in Tajikistan, reacted to the letters and rumors spread about the letter of introduction of the first secretary of the Islamic Emirate.
