Pakistan's special envoy to Afghanistan, Asif Ali Durrani, claiming the presence of TTP in Afghanistan, said that peace in Afghanistan has become a nightmare for Pakistan.
Speaking about the Islamic Emirate's leader's order to forbid terrorist acts within Pakistan, in an interview with "Ambassadors' Lounge," Durrani said that the TTP disobeyed it.
“Peace in Afghanistan has become a nightmare for Pakistan. Because those people who are taking sanctuary inside Afghanistan, they are launching those attacks and as the Prime Minister had rightly pointed out, the increase has been 65 percent ever since the Taliban have come to power, but the suicide attacks actually have increased five hundred precent,” Asif Ali Durrani noted.
Pakistan's special envoy to Afghanistan, referring to the Islamic Emirate's leader's order prohibiting terrorist attacks inside Pakistan: "As you know, an order was issued by the leader of the Taliban about the prohibition of attacking Pakistan. Their [Taliban] ministers also make these remarks. So are we to accept that the TTP is disobeying this order? If this is the case, then TTP, which has declared allegiance, has been invalidated. If this has been invalidated, then TTP should be punished. If you are talking about Islam, or tradition, then in both cases the issue of punishment is raised because they [TTP] are abusing Afghanistan's soil.”
"They should talk based on the document, where they are, who is training them and who is equipping them. They should talk based on the document. It is not right to talk without a reason,” said Yusuf Amin Zazai, a political analyst.
"TTP is Pakistan's internal issue and it is in the Pakistani community,” said Asadullah Nadim, a political analyst.
Although the Islamic Emirate has not so far commented on this issue, it has said before that it wants to ensure security in Pakistan and will never allow Afghanistan's soil to be used against Pakistan.
"They stated that Afghanistan's soil should not be used against any country, which is the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's basic stance, and we guarantee that Afghanistan's soil will not be used against any country," the Islamic Emirate's spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, told TOLOnews.
Previously, Pakistan’s caretaker Prime Minister claimed that since the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, there has been an increase in terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar claimed that some illegal Pakistani nationals are staying in Afghanistan, which the Islamic Emirate has always rejected.
