In response to reports of some Pakistani media, the Islamic Emirate said that the Islamic Emirate's Chargé d'Affaires in Pakistan was not summoned, but only received a message from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.
Earlier, the Express Tribune, a Pakistani newspaper, had reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan summoned the charge d'affaires of the Islamic Emirate in Islamabad in response to the recent attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and asked the Islamic Emirate to arrest Hafiz Gul Bahadur, the leader of the TTP and deliver him to Islamabad.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, said the reports about the summoning of the charge d'affaires of the Islamic Emirate in Pakistan are baseless.
"Based on our information, our ambassador has not been summoned, maybe our ambassador himself has explained it. But the message has reached our embassy and has been shared with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and it is under investigation," Zabihullah Mujahid told TOLOnews.
"This should be documented, pursued through legal authorities, and the United Nations Security Council should be referred to with the document," said Sayed Muqim Amin, a political analyst.
"The countries that are worried about Afghanistan, their demands and concerns should be solved diplomatically," said Mohammad Matin Mohammadkhil, a political analyst.
On the other hand, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the spokesperson of the ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan emphasized once again that Islamabad is concerned about security threats arising from the soil of Afghanistan.
Baloch asked the authorities of the Islamic Emirate in a news conference to ensure that the soil of Afghanistan is not used against Pakistan.
The Pakistani army has also claimed that the attacker targeted the convoy of the country's security forces on Sunday of this week in the Bakakhil area of Bannu city in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, in which two civilians were killed and 10 civilians and three soldiers were injured. He was a "citizen of Afghanistan" and affiliated with Hafiz Gul Bahadur’s group, the Pamistani military claimed.
