Islamic Emirate to Attend Russia-Islamic World Forum in Kazan

Scheduled for the fifteenth of May, a significant global gathering titled the "Russia-Islamic World: Kazan Forum" is set to take place in Kazan. Representatives from diverse nations have been extended invitations to attend this event, with the agenda prominently featuring discussions on Afghanistan.

Dmitry Zhirnov, Russia's ambassador to Kabul, invited the representative of the Islamic Emirate to this international meeting in Kazan during a meeting with Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy of the Prime Ministry.

Hamdullah Fetrat, deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, told TOLOnews about the meeting: "During this meeting, Dmitry Zhirnov also provided information about the meeting while inviting the political deputy of the Prime Ministry to participate in the international meeting in Tatarstan, Kazan."

The deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, regarding the meeting of the Russian ambassador with officials of the Islamic Emirate, said that securing Kabul-Moscow relations in these meetings was called beneficial by both sides and emphasized the progress and development of relations.

A number of political analysts said that holding the World Islamic Assembly meeting is important and said that lifting sanctions on Afghanistan should also be addressed at this meeting.

Hamidullah Hotak, a political analyst, said: "My request from the Islamic Emirate is to proceed well with neighboring countries and the world, accept the legitimate demands of the countries, and the only way for the country's progress is good relations with the countries."

Sayed Bilal Ahmad Fatemi, another analyst, said: "We want Afghanistan to emerge from this deadlock, and the ongoing external obstacles for warfare in Afghanistan should be reduced, and the Islamic Emirate should resolve their problems so that they can become a member of the international community."

It has been said that Nooruddin Azizi, the acting minister of industry and commerce, will represent the Islamic Emirate at this meeting; however, the caretaker government has not officially said anything about this.

The Russia - Islamic World: Kazan international economic forum is expected to have special representatives from China, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and some other countries participating.
