Clashes in Paktia Leave 5 Dead and 5 Injured

In ongoing clashes between Islamic Emirate forces and Pakistani military along the Durand Line, in Paktia, 5 civilians have been killed and 5 others injured.

These clashes near the Durand Line in Paktia have forced some families to leave their homes.

Hamidullah, a family member of the victims, said: "It has been three days that shells are being fired from Pakistan to this side. We had guests in our house, and as a result of the shelling, one of our guests was also injured."

Zahir, a displaced person, said: "The war between the Taliban and Pakistan is ongoing, and we have taken shelter elsewhere. We are moving from here."

Abdul Khaliq, another displaced person, said: "The war is ongoing, and all the people have fled with their animals."

According to local residents, rockets fired from Pakistan have hit people's homes, causing not only casualties but also financial losses.

Jumma Gul, a resident of Paktia, said: "For three days now, shells have been fired from Pakistan, displacing people and causing deaths."

Sayed Mohammad, another resident of Paktia, said: "All the offices have been damaged, and all the markets have been completely destroyed."

Since last Monday, clashes between Islamic Emirate forces and the Pakistani military have been ongoing along the Durand Line in the Aryoub Zazi and Dand Patan districts.

Islamic Emirate officials have not yet commented on these clashes or the resulting casualties.
