Acting Ministers of Education and Higher Education Travel to Russia

Neda Mohammad Nadim and Habibullah Agha, the acting ministers of Higher Education and Education, left for Russia today (Saturday) on an official visit.

Officials from these ministries stated that the purpose of this trip is to participate in the Second World Conference of Ministers of Higher Education and Education in Russia.

The two acting ministers are scheduled to speak on various topics, especially the opportunities, achievements, and challenges in education and higher education.

Ziaullah Hashimi, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Higher Education, said about the trip: "The Minister of Higher Education, in addition to participating in this conference, will meet with ministers of higher education from various countries and will also visit educational centers and universities in Russia."

Mansour Ahmad Hamza, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, said: "The acting Minister of Education will deliver a detailed speech on the educational situation in Afghanistan, its achievements, and opportunities."

According to the spokespersons of these ministries, the acting ministers of Higher Education and Education will also meet with several ministers from different countries on the sidelines of this conference.

The question is whether these meetings can help resolve the educational and academic challenges faced by students in the country.

Jawid Momand, a university professor, responded: "Participating in these meetings is beneficial for Afghanistan as it allows us to gain from the experiences of other countries in this field. Discussing the quality of teaching is a positive step."

This conference is scheduled to take place tomorrow (Sunday, June 9) in Kazan, Russia.

Reportedly, the two acting ministers will closely examine the challenges faced by Afghan students residing in Russia on the sidelines of this conference.
