Kabul Municipality officials announced special plans for maintaining cleanliness during Eid al-Adha.
They have distributed 300 trash bins in various parts of the capital to ensure cleanliness and reduce waste during this period.
Nematullah Barakzai, a representative of Kabul Municipality, said: "The orange-clad workers of Kabul Municipality continue their duties. As you know, the leftover waste from sacrifices has an unpleasant odor, and Kabul Municipality has distributed 300 large bins specifically for sacrificial waste."
He urged Kabul residents to cooperate with the municipality.
Some residents of the capital have welcomed this initiative by Kabul Municipality.
Sayed Yahya, a resident of Kabul, said: "There are other areas in Kabul where this process should be expanded. This is a good initiative."
Atiqullah, another Kabul resident, said: "The homeland is like a mother, and we should not throw everything we use on the streets and markets. We must protect our homeland."
Previously, Kabul Municipality had designated eight locations in different parts of the capital for the orderly sale of livestock.
