The top ten students who scored the highest marks in the Kankor exam were praised by the National Examination Authority.
Abdul Baqi Haqqani, the head of the National Examination Authority, emphasized the need for standardization of higher education in the country and said that the education and higher education sectors are facing serious challenges.
Haqqani added that Western countries are trying to influence the young by offering scholarships.
The head of the National Examination Authority said: "The devastation and misery of the past 45 years were created by cadres trained by foreigners against Afghanistan and Islam."
Meanwhile, Sebaqatullah Wasel, the financial and administrative deputy of the Ministry of Education, emphasized the standardization of exams and added that the Islamic Emirate is committed to the expansion and improvement of modern sciences in the country.
Wasel said: "Sheikh Sahib also emphasized that in addition to religious sciences, modern sciences are also necessary."
Saifuddin Tayeb, deputy of the Administrative Office, said: "Students who enter the educational and academic field should not waste their time and should make the most of the talents that Allah Almighty has given them."
Some religious scholars and other officials also mentioned that the gap between universities and religious schools should be eliminated, emphasizing the importance of learning and improving modern and religious sciences in the country.
Abdul Rahman Mosleh, a religious scholar, said, "You can benefit from both the divine and current systems. This is the grace and blessing of Almighty Allah, who has granted you knowledge and progress; never forget it."
