The funeral of Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas' political bureau, was held in Doha and was attended by officials from various countries.
Haniyeh's body was transferred from Tehran to Doha yesterday (Thursday), and his burial ceremony is also set to be held in Doha.
Several officials from the Islamic Emirate have also traveled to Doha to attend the funeral and burial ceremonies of the head of Hamas' political bureau.
Ismail Haniyeh's wife, Amal Haniyeh, said: "You are my support in this life and the hereafter. Greetings to all the martyrs of Gaza, greetings to the leaders, to all the martyrs of Gaza, to all Muslims. My dear, may God make it easy for you."
Meanwhile, the leader of Yemen's Houthis said that their stance on the assassination of Hamas' political bureau chief is clear, and efforts to respond to this attack are underway.
Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen's Houthis, said: "The stance on crimes related to the axis, the axis of Jerusalem, jihad, and resistance is clear. Serious, severe, and significant crimes of the enemy must be met with a military response. Clear and declared stances from the Islamic Republic and other axes exist, and efforts to respond are underway."
Meanwhile, Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, said that the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh will have dangerous consequences for the region, and Pakistan strongly condemns Israel's actions in Palestine.
Ishaq Dar said: "Such incidents not only destroy the peace of the world but also constitute dangerous escalations …, and undermine efforts for peace. Therefore, this house strongly condemns the ongoing state oppression and brutality by Israel in Palestine as a tragedy for the muslim Ummah and the world."
First Vice President of Iran, Mohammad Reza Aref, said: "We hope that the movement that has been created and the resistance flow continues towards the high goal considered by the Islamic Ummah, which is the liberation of Jerusalem."
Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas' political bureau, was assassinated on Wednesday, July 31, while in his residence in Tehran for attending the inauguration ceremony of Masoud Pezeshkian, the new President of Iran.
