Noorullah Noori, the acting Minister of Borders, Ethnicities, and Tribes, stated that the residents of border areas face serious health and transportation challenges.
Noori, who visited Kunar to assess the challenges and needs of the citizens, emphasized the importance of addressing these challenges and fulfilling their basic needs.
The acting Minister of Borders, Ethnicities, and Tribes said, "We are undertaking this task based on the needs, assessing how critical their basic requirements are. For example, water is currently a vital issue, health is a crucial concern, and connecting these areas to the center is another goal. Additionally, our aim is to protect our people from the harm of neighboring countries."
During his meeting with local officials in Nuristan, he highlighted that addressing the problems of citizens in remote areas is one of the responsibilities of the Islamic Emirate and stressed the importance of transparency in providing services to them.
Noorullah Noori added, "If we do not act justly, this effort will fail, and Allah will be displeased with us, and we will be ashamed before the people. However, if we act with justice, make efforts, and work sincerely, Allah will be pleased, we will have fulfilled the orders of our leader, and the people will also be satisfied with us."
Sayed Akbar Sial, a political analyst, said: "All challenges should be considered in service delivery, including those of border areas and distant districts, and a balance in service delivery should be maintained. In my opinion, these challenges will be resolved, and the gap between the people and the current government will be bridged."
According to the Ministry of Borders, Ethnicities, and Tribes, following the orders of the leader of the Islamic Emirate, the acting minister has been tasked with establishing a committee to assess the challenges and basic needs of the residents of border areas in coordination with local officials.
