Khairullah Khairkhwa, the acting Minister of Information and Culture, stated that despite progress in various sectors, some individuals abroad are still pursuing their personal interests under different pretexts.
Speaking at an event in Kabul commemorating the 24th of Asad, Khairkhwa, without naming anyone, urged these individuals to abandon their opposition and return to the country.
In this regard, the acting Minister of Information and Culture said: "Our advice to them is to cease their opposition and use their intellect. If you do not adhere to Islamic texts, principles, and laws, then for God's sake, use your common sense a little. Abandon opposition and return to your homeland."
In another part of his remarks, he called on the youth to take advantage of the opportunities and their capacities to increasw unity and rebuild the country.
Khairullah Khairkhwa also added that ethnic and regional biases in the country have now disappeared.
The acting Minister of Information and Culture further stated, "Those slogans in the name of ethnicity, homeland, province, region, and district have ended. Those slogans are over. Today, everyone is joining hands, and we aim to serve this oppressed nation."
Previously, the acting Minister of Information and Culture also emphasized the importance of unity among citizens and called on them to strive for its realization.
