Noorullah Noori, acting Minister of Borders, Ethnicities, and Tribes, said that currently, the management of all the country’s borders is under the control of the border forces of the Islamic Emirate.
Noori added in a statement to National Television that the smuggling of illegal goods across the country's borders has also been prevented.
The acting Minister of Borders, Ethnicities, and Tribes stated: "Especially at the borders, I cannot provide examples from past years in the way they are now [secure]. At present, we have full control over all borders. Monitoring, evaluation, and protection are in the hands of the Islamic Emirate, and we are continuing our work."
According to Noori, in the past, effective measures were not taken to resolve conflicts among the country’s citizens, and in his view, the existence of various parties in the past led to divisions among the people.
Noorullah Noori said: "Instead of unity and solidarity, it was natural that there were many official factions. They were promoting and increasing the number of these factions. What was the purpose of this [multiplicity of parties]? It was meant to create division, not unity."
Earlier, the acting Minister of Borders, Ethnicities, and Tribes also emphasized at a meeting in Logar that the protection of the country's borders is one of the important responsibilities of the Islamic Emirate, and they will never neglect this duty.
