Over 4,000 Literacy Classes Established Across the Country This Year

In the current solar year, more than 4,000 literacy classes have been established across the country.

The Ministry of Education states that last year, they had also succeeded in creating over 9,000 literacy classes nationwide.

According to Mansoor Ahmad Hamza, the spokesperson for the ministry, “This year, 4,583 new courses were established, with a total of 85,785 students actively engaged in learning.”

Some students enrolled in these classes say that by participating, they have gained the ability to read and write and are asking officials for more resources to facilitate literacy education.

Farhad, one of the literacy students, said, “We are very grateful to our teacher, who worked so hard to teach us and helped us reach a point where we can now write. Our request to the Islamic Emirate is for more support in this effort.”

Another student, Gul Mullah, said, “In the past, we couldn’t even write a single name. We thank our teacher for his cooperation, and our request to the Islamic Emirate is to continue this effort and to establish more courses.”
