Education Ministry Assures Transparency in Teacher Recruitment Process

The Ministry of Education held a press conference to announce the results of the examination for 8,165 vacant teaching positions and fifth- and sixth-grade administrative posts.

Abdul Khaliq Sadeq, the deputy minister for quality assurance at the Ministry of Education, assured transparency in the recruitment process during the announcement.

Sadiq urged Islamic Emirate officials to pay greater attention to the education sector.

"The recruitment process will address the overall and relative shortage of teachers in primary, secondary, and high schools. Inshallah, teachers will be hired according to their respective fields," he stated.

He added that efforts to fill the vacant positions in the ministry would continue in the coming year.

Meanwhile, Abdul Baqi Haqqani, the acting head of the National Examination Authority, stressed the expansion of modern sciences and the appointment of qualified individuals while assuring the transparency of the examination process.

Haqqani stated: "There are systems in place where human intervention is not possible. Once the exam is taken and results are announced, no one can influence them. Even if the entire system decides to pass someone or increase their score, it would not be possible in these systems."

According to ministry officials, more than 35,000 candidates participated in the exam, of whom 11,463 passed. Among them, 3,071 will be recruited, while 8,392 will be placed on a waiting list.
