The Eid al-Fitr prayer, led by the Leader of the Islamic Emirate, Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada, was held today (Sunday, March 30) in Kandahar with the participation of thousands of worshippers.

During his speech at the event, Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada emphasized the need to put aside differences between the people and the Islamic Emirate, adding that the Islamic system will only succeed when all citizens of the country are united.

The Leader of the Islamic Emirate added that some individuals are trying to create division between the people and the government through "negative propaganda."

Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada also called on all citizens of the country to set aside their differences and unite.

The Leader of the Islamic Emirate said: "The Islamic system will succeed when there is unity between us and you. Today, these devilish individuals are trying to separate the people from the Emirate. The infidels and the supporters of democracy spread poisonous propaganda, even accusing the high ranking officials of the Islamic Emirate of incompetence."

The Leader of the Islamic Emirate also emphasized that the law must be based on Islamic Sharia, and if its source is the West, it is not applicable.

He further stated that work on a new law based on Islamic Sharia is currently underway in the country.
