11 Taliban Including Their Commanders Killed In Kapisa

Kapisa police chief Mohammad Raziq Yaqoubi said 22 Taliban insurgents including their three commanders were killed and wounded in Tagab district.

Yaqoubi said that in a clash on Tuesday night between local people and Taliban in Baba Khail village at least 11 Taliban members, including their three commanders, were killed.

Fourteen Taliban insurgents were wounded in the clash, Yaqoubi added.

Yaqoubi said that the clash broke out when Taliban wanted to attack members of the public uprising forces in the area.

Seven local people were also wounded in the clash, Yaqoubi said.

Local people also seized the Taliban’s weapons in the clash.
