Afghan Forces Rescue 53 People From Taliban Prison In Zabul

At least 53 people were freed from a Taliban prison in an operation by Afghan National Defense and Security Forces in Zabul province in the south of Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement on Friday.

The statement said the operation was conducted in Daichopan district in Zabul province in which eight Taliban militants were killed.

According to the statement, four of the rescued individuals were Commando Forces personnel and four others were police force members.
