Afghan Nationals Arrested On Charges Of Drug Smuggling In India

India’s police arrested four Afghan nationals trying to smuggle drugs in an airport in New Delhi on Sunday, Indian news agencies reported. 

Abdul Haq Noorzai, Mohammad Naeim Noorzai, Mohammad Esmael Noorzai and Mohammad Nasim Noorzai were arrested from Indira Gandhi International Airports, the reports said.  

They were carrying heroin in their abdomen and were planning to peddle it in Delhi, the reports added. 

The police took them to the hospital and it was revealed that the smugglers were hiding the capsules inside their belly.

The sized drugs were estimated nearly three Indian crores (At least $420,000), the reports said.
