A car bomb exploded near a military camp in Shah Wali Kot district in Kandahar early on Saturday morning, according to a statement by provincial police.

The statement said one policeman was killed and three others were wounded in the explosion, which occurred around 6 a.m.

According to the statement, a Humvee loaded with explosives was used in the bombing.

No group, including the Taliban, has claimed responsibility for this attack.
