Dozens Of Afghan Nationals Arrested In Pakistan

Pakistan’s police have arrested over 200 suspects, mostly Afghan nationals in the past 24 hours, Pakistani media reported on Sunday.

Pakistani officials said the police and intelligence agencies continued search operation in the entire province on the fifth day to arrest the suspects involved in terror activities, according to Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper report.

Pakistani officials said the police were focusing on intelligence-based search operations to get maximum results from it while all the arrested suspects were shifted to some undisclosed location for further interrogation, the report said.

According to Pakistani officials, the operation was launched after a suicide blast at the Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine in Sindh.

Daesh claimed responsibility for the attack at the shrine.

The report said the Afghan nationals failed to prove their identity.
