Eight Taliban Killed In Farah Drone Strike

At least eight Taliban militants were killed in a drone strike in western Farah province, provincial police confirmed in a statement. 

In addition, seven other Taliban militants were wounded, the statement said. 

The deone strike was carried out by foreign forcea in Shewan village in Bala Bulok district in the province, the statement said.

However, the statement did not provide further details.

Taliban so far has not commented on the report. 

This comes after a foreign forces' drone strike targeted Mullah Mohammad Rahim Mannan, also known as Mullah Abdulmannan Akhund, head of Taliban’s military commission and designated governor of Helmand.
