Kabul health officials have confirmed at least 13 people were killed and another 26 wounded in a suicide bombing in Kabul’s PD 6, in Darulaman area. 

The explosion happened at about 1pm local time at the gate of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD). 

Early reports indicate the explosion happened while employees were leaving the ministry's building for the day. 

The explosion also happened in a heavy guarded area of the city, which is also home to numerous high-ranking officials. 

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the bombing.
