At least five Daesh fighters were killed in a foreign forces drone strike in Kunar province, 201st Selab Military Corps said on Saturday.
The military corps said in a statement the strike was conducted on Daesh hideouts in Manogi and Narang districts of Kunar province.
The statement did not provide more information regarding the airstrike.
Daesh fighters are however active in parts of Kunar and Nangarhar provinces.
