Four Insurgents Killed In Foreign Forces Airstrike

At least four Taliban insurgents were killed on Friday night during a foreign forces airstrike in Parwan province, local officials said Saturday.

According to local officials, the Taliban had planned to target Bagram airbase on Friday night but before the group could launch its attack the foreign forces carried out an airstrike.

Wahida Shahkar Parwan, the governor’s spokeswoman, confirmed and said that four Taliban insurgents were killed in the incident.

This comes after Bagram airbase has come under rocket attacks four times in the past month.

However, the Taliban has claimed it carried out a rocket attack on Bagram airbase on Friday night.
