IED Blast In Nangarhar Leaves Two Dead

At least two people were killed in an embedded IED blast in Jalalabad city in Nangarhar province early on Monday morning, the provincial police spokesman Farid Khan confirmed.
 
He said five others were wounded in the explosion who were taken to nearby hospitals. 
  
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
 
This comes after on Saturday a woman was killed and five civilians, including two children and a man, were wounded in a blast in Jalalabad city, Attaullah Khogyani, the Nangarhar governor’s spokesman said.

The IED was embedded to a military vehicle, officials said, adding that the blast left two dead.
