Four back-to-back explosions rocked Jalalabad city in the eastern Nangarhar province on Monday evening.

The provincial governor's spokesman Attaullah Khogyani said the explosions happened in Talashi Square in Jalalabad's PD1.

He said that at least three people were killed and 20 others were wounded in the explosions.

He said the blasts were as a result of IEDs planted in the area.

No group has claimed responsibility for the explosions.
