The National Directorate of Security (NDS) operatives foiled two big terror attacks by the Taliban on two separate locations in Kabul, the NDS said in a statement on Thursday.
The attacks were planned against the Amanullah Ghazi Hospital, a security organization health facility, and the Ministry of Interior, the statement said.
The attacks were plotted by a group of seven individuals, the statement added.
The suspects, the NDS said, have admitted that they were trained to conduct attacks and use suicide vests at Ashabul Jannah, Hashemiya, Ashabulsaffah, Mansoori Lashkar and Omari Lashkar madrassas in Chaman area in Pakistan.
All the religious schools are run by Mawlawi Ahmad Kandahar and the suspects were sent to Kabul by Mohammad Aref Erfan, a group leader, the statement concluded.
