A 22 year-old-man killed three members of his family on Monday in Parwan province, local officials said Tuesday.

Ghulam Sanaye Stanikzai, the Parwan police chief, said a man named Bilal is accused of committing the crime and was an army soldier.

According to Stanikzai, the incident occurred on late Monday night during a dispute.

The man shot his wife, sister and his father-in-law with an AK-47.

The man fled the area and police are searching for him, Stanikzai said.
