Kunar Hosts Nearly 50,000 Domestic Tourists During Eid

During Eid al-Adha, nearly fifty thousand domestic tourists visited various attractions in Kunar province.

Officials from Kunar's Directorate of Information and Culture said that they had set up special committees to welcome tourists, ensuring they could comfortably visit the province's attractions.

Jannat Gul Fida, the head of information at Kunar's directorate of information and culture, said: "So far, nearly fifty thousand tourists have come to Kunar and enjoyed its valleys, mountains, and waterfalls."

Several domestic tourists praised the natural beauty of Kunar and expressed happiness over the overall security in the country.

Tourist Samiullah said: "Mashallah, Kunar, as its name suggests, is a green province. It was indeed lush, we had great outings there and enjoyed it a lot."

Tourist Zalgi said: "Life is about this pleasure, to go on trips and be happy. People have come from Nangarhar, Kandahar, Paktia, and every province. This place is very beautiful."

Green valleys, rushing rivers, forest-covered mountains, green mountain slopes, and cool air are some of Kunar’s features that attract thousands of citizens to this province.

Some tourists who have visited Kunar said that traveling to different provinces fosters unity, understanding, and acceptance among various ethnic groups and residents.

Tourist Shakoor Ghorzang said: "In such good and sweet days, the comings and goings of young people between different provinces increase love and strengthen relationships."

Tourists who have come to Kunar mentioned that building roads leading to these tourist areas and providing facilities such as electricity will increase the number of domestic tourists and attract foreign tourists as well.
