The head of information and culture of Faryab added: "25,000 domestic tourists from neighboring provinces came to Faryab province to visit recreational areas and natural attractions."
Springs, natural waterfalls, and green landscapes in Khwaja Ghar village, Gurziwan district, Faryab province, have attracted thousands of domestic tourists.
Several tourists who have come to this district for entertainment consider security one of the reasons for their tourism.
They want the authorities to provide more facilities in recreational places.
Abdul Razzaq, a tourist, said: "Afghanistan is a very green country and has many historical places that can be visited and enjoyed. Afghanistan has many recreational places, such as Gurziwan, where the seven periods of the royal monarchy passed, the period of the Aryans, the period of the Tatars, the period of the Sasanian, the period of the Bactrian, and the period of Islam. Thank goodness there are many recreational places in Afghanistan."
Seyed Jalil, another tourist, said: "It is a natural place. We came from Faryab to have fun with our friends to see closely whether it was Khwaja Ghar or not."
With security in the country, citizens travel to different provinces to visit natural attractions and historical places.
