16 Militants Killed In Kandahar Clash

At least 16 Taliban militants were killed in a clash with border police force members in Spin Boldak district in Kandahar province, the provincial media office said in a statement on Saturday. 
 
The statement said Taliban attacked a security outpost of the border forces in Nawa village in Spin Boldak district, which is located along the Durand Line.
 
Seven Afghan Border Police force members were killed and four others were wounded in the clash, the statement said. 
 
The statement said 11 militants were wounded in the clash. 
 
However, sources said that the clash left 18 soldier dead. 
 
Taliban has not commented on the report so far.
