Seven Daesh Fighters Killed In Nangarhar Airstrike

At least seven Daesh fighters were killed during a foreign forces airstrike in Nangarhar province, local officials said Sunday. 

The 201 Selab Military Corps said in a statement a foreign forces helicopter targeted a Daesh hideout on Sunday at 03:30 local time in Nazyan district.

No more details were provided by the military corps. 

Meanwhile, in a separate clash between security forces and Taliban, in Balkh province, two Taliban insurgents were killed and three others were wounded. 

Military officials from Balkh said the clash started on Saturday in Gortepa village in Chamtal district. 

During the clash, security officials also seized weapons belonging to insurgents.
