Six Security Force Members Wounded In Helmand Suicide Attack

At least six security force members were wounded when a suicide bomber in a Toyota Corolla detonated his explosives in Helmand province on Saturday, local officials said. 
 
According to Omar Zwak, the provincial governor's spokesman, the incident occurred at around 11:30 am when a suicide car bomber tried to enter an army base in Qari Posta in Nad Ali district. He was spotted by security forces who opened fire on him. However he still managed to detonate his explosives. 
 
Four army soldiers and two police soldiers were wounded in the blast, Zwak said. 
 
Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
