The 'Taliban' on Saturday evening targeted a convoy of Afghan National Police (ANP) on the Kabul-Parwan highway, killing at least one police officer, said Abdul Shokor Quddusi, the district governor of Bagram on Saturday.

According to local officials, the attack happened in the Nasrawi area of Bagram district.

Bagram is a district of Parwan province, which is located north of the Afghan capital Kabul.

The Taliban has not commented on the attack.
