At least two people killed in a chopper crash on Wednesday in Farah province, the Ministry of Defense said.
According to the ministry the incident occurred when an army chopper was on its way from the provincial capital to the Pur Chaman district.
The chopper crashed due to technical issues and two pilots on board were killed, MoD said.
According to the ministry the chopper was on a supply mission to the district.
Back in November 2018 at least 20 people were killed in another chopper crash in Farah province.
According to 207 Zafar Military Corps spokesman Najibullah Najibi, two choppers had been flying together when the one crashed.
