In the second day of India-Afghan Cultural Festival in New Delhi, Afghan and Indian artists performed concert and displayed traditional clothes from the two countries.
“We want that Afghan-India friendship should continue as it is. We appreciate and support all those shared values which will take us to a positive path,” said Mohammad Rasool Bawari, acting minister of information and culture.

“We have gathered here to strengthen Afghanistan-India relations. It is a platform to display the cultures of the two countries,” Afghan student in India Sajida said.
Afghan musicians said it was a good opportunity for them to express their talent and introduce Afghanistan’s music to Indians.
“Such events are crucial for bringing the two countries closer. We can introduce our cultures to each other by these programs,” said Mohammad Ehsan Irfan, head of Music Department of Ministry of Information and Culture.

“It was a week of art and we along with Indian artists had nice performances,” Mohammad Musa Sabiri, a singer, said.
