Veteran Afghan Actor Ghafar Qutbiyar Passes Away

Veteran actor Ghafar Qutbiyar died due to an illness aged 58, his relatives confirmed.

He was famous for his negative roles in many Afghan movies.

Born in 1961 in Panjshir province, he started his career with Radio BBC in Kabul for a radio drama.

His first movie was Barbad Rafta which was produced in 2003 and made him a famous actor in a negative role.

He was also famous for his unique dialogues in different movies.

Other famous Afghan movies he played role in them were Zakhm-e-Zindagi, Enteha, Shahr-e-Gunah, Se Farari, Awaragi, Ayeen-e-Ishq, Iman, Ishq-e-Khamosh, Doshman and others.

He also played a role in two TV series.
