Afghanistan’s central bank, Da Afghanistan, has so far invested $ 7.5 billion in foreign banks.

The bank earned $150 million this fiscal year for these investments.

A spokesman for the central bank says the profits will be used on bank spending, increased foreign exchange reserves and to expand bank investments.
