Integrity Watch Afghanistan says that despite the reforms in mining law, the law is not complete now and that some of its decisions are political.

Representatives from Integrity Watch say the Afghan Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has not yet provided the necessary investment opportunities for mining in the country.

The Ministry of Mines released a statement saying they have consulted with various institutions to revise mining law.
